Manannan’s Grey Watcher was my attempt to capture the mystical essence of Manannán mac Lir, the revered sea god and guardian of the Otherworld in Irish mythology. Known as the ‘son of the sea,’ Manannán commands the waves with his enchanted chariot pulled by horses that traverse both land and ocean, wielding powerful artifacts like his cloak of mists for invisibility and the Crane Bag containing treasures of the deep. Both a protector of Ireland’s shores and a guide for souls to the afterlife.

Hi, my name is Cole and I am a Dublin artist.
For years, I’ve painted outside. Especially near St Stephen’s Green, Merrion Square Park, and St Patrick’s Cathedral. 
I’ve been chased out of most corners of the city at least once by the Gardaí or the OPW officers, lol 😂. I finally put together this website to sell and become a blue-chip artist.
Most of my art is themed around religious symbology and local lore. I hope you like it! You get to be my final curator
